Transformation. It has a nice ring to it, don’t you think? But what does it mean? It means that when it comes to our relationship with God, we’re not satisfied with just maintaining the status quo. We’re not content to continue year after year, with the same ideas, and attitudes, and habits that we’ve always had.
The goal is to be like Christ: 2 Corinthians 3:18, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Philippians 1:6
Transformation is a process: Philippians 3:12-14
Transformation involves change and that is not always fun: Romans 12:2, Philippians 2:12-13
Transformation demonstrated in the man at the Sheep Gate Pool: John 5:1-9
Change is not free but it’s worth it: Philippians 3:8
Marin Luther said, “a religion that gives nothing, costs nothing, and suffers nothing, is worth nothing."
