I Love My Church!
Studies show that 80 percent of church-goers fill seats on Sunday, but never really get involved; they never get to experience the blessings of full church engagement.
Please join us for this sermon series as we explore WHY God designed the Church the way He did, and how we can find fulfillment and spiritual growth through loving God and His Church.
Brief introduction to the "I Love My Church" sermon series
Week 1 (09/18) - "Loving the Church Means Loving People"
Projected Aim: To introduce the concept that loving the church means loving the people.
Week 2 (09/25) - "We Are a Community"
Projected Aim: Help people identify the important role community plays and the subtle ways we sabotage it.
The church is a community. We are one large family. Unfortunately people are messy. People are hard to live with. Because of this we sometimes build walls to protect us from hurt. To truly be part of a community, a church, we have to learn how to tear down those walls. Please join us as we dismantle the walls that separate us.
Week 3 (10/02) - "I Love My Church Because It Serves"
Projected Aim: Help people identify the important role serving plays in communicating love.
Week 4 (10/09) - "Giving Is An Expression Of Love"
Projected Aim: Help people recognize that sacrificing and meeting needs are abundant expressions of love.
Week 5 (10/16) - "Loving the Church Is Sharing the Gospel"
Projected Aim: Help people see that loving the church impacts the community for the Gospel.
